Today I told you a little about my holiday yesterday. I went to enjoy the sea atmosphere bersma family in an industrial area called PT Asean Aceh Fertilizer or PT AAF in short. it looks a little crowded sea atmosphere accompanied by people who are fishing around the harbor area.

History of PT AAF

PT. ASEAN ACEH FERTILIZER is a joint venture of Southeast Asian Countries incorporated in ASEAN members.

The company began its planned establishment in 1979 and its construction began in 1981 and its first production was in 1984. The location of the company was in North Aceh, Krueng Geukueh, then the area until it was dubbed as Petro Dollar Area.

Hari ini saya bercerita sedikit mengenai liburan saya hari minggu kemarin. saya pergi menikmati suasana laut bersama keluarga di kawasan industri yang bernama PT Asean Aceh Fertilizer atau PT AAF di singkat. tampak suasana laut agak ramai ditemani oleh orang-orang yang sedang memancing di sekitar area pelabuhan.

Sejarah PT AAF

PT. ASEAN ACEH FERTILIZER merupakan sebuah perusahaan patungan dari Negara - Negara Asia Tenggara yang tergabung dalam anggota ASEAN.
Perusahaan ini mulai direncanakan pendiriannya pada Tahun 1979 dan pembangunannya dimulai tahun 1981 serta produksi pertamanya adalah tahun 1984. Letak perusahaan tersebut berada di Aceh Utara, Krueng Geukueh, saat itu kawasan ini sampai dijuluki sebagai Kawasan Petro Dollar.

Biurite content in the maximum urea content of 0.5 ppm. On top of that, urea can actually kill plants.

In these glorious times, urea fertilizer production of PT AAF became the target of countries like China and Vietnam. PT AAF's triumph is marked by skyrocketing corporate profits. At that time, PT AAF pocketed large amounts of fresh funds, so the company also diversified its products.

PT AAF then built a hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) plant in 1999. The total investment to build the plant is worth US $ 30 million. Hydrogen peroxide is a derivative product of an ammonia plant. This chemical compound is commonly used for the purposes of bleaching (washing) in the textile factory to be used as the basic material of pharmaceutical and cosmetic products. Ironically all the golden stories of fertilizer factories whose shares are also owned by ASEAN countries, such as Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines, have become a thing of the past. More than 10 years passed, now PT AAF stay corrosive iron scrap, along with the rest of the past glory of memories.

Jatuh Setelah Zaman Keemasan

Dahulu PT ASEAN Aceh Fertilizer (AAF) adalah perusahaan pembawa rezeki bagi masyarakat Aceh. Di zaman sebelum krisis moneter, kapasitas produksi pupuk oleh PT AAF di Indonesia mencapai 575.000 ton per tahun. Selain itu, kualitas pupuk urea yang diproduksi oleh PT AAF pada saat itu juga termasuk yang terbaik di dunia. Urea yang diproduksi oleh PT AAF memiliki kandungan biurit di bawah 0,3 ppm (part per million). Kandungan biurit dalam kandungan urea maksimum 0,5 ppm. Di atas itu, urea benar-benar dapat membunuh tanaman.

Di masa-masa indah ini, produksi pupuk urea PT AAF menjadi target negara-negara seperti China dan Vietnam. Kemenangan PT AAF ditandai dengan meroketnya laba perusahaan. Saat itu, PT AAF mengantongi sejumlah besar dana segar, sehingga perusahaan juga melakukan diversifikasi produknya.

PT AAF kemudian membangun pabrik hidrogen peroksida (H2O2) pada tahun 1999. Total investasi untuk membangun pabrik ini bernilai US $ 30 juta. Lebih dari 10 tahun berlalu, sekarang PT AAF tinggl potongan besi tua yang habis dimakan oleh korosi, bersama dengan sisa-sisa kenangan di masa lalu.
