Sutlej River in (Punjab) Pakistan.....

I hope you will feel much pleasure to know about river Sutlej, which is situated in both neighbouring countries Pakistan

and India. It is the longest river of the five rivers that flow through northern India and Pakistan. Its source of water is from

the lake Rakshastal in Tibet. It flows approximately 1550 km through Jammu and Kashmir to India and Pakistan.

India has made several hydroelectric projects on the Sutlej because it is sometime in India and sometime in Pakistan.
It often flows in slow speed in winter but high speed in summer with heavy water.
Almost 35 years ago once it causes much destruction by flooding surrounding areas. It finally terminates in the Arabian

Sea near the port city of Karachi. Fish of this river is very tasty. People of surrounding areas often visit with their families

and enjoy to look its beauty and fish. I have also tasted fish caught from the river Sutlej at Head sulemanke once when I

visited.
