The rock church "St. Petka" is located near the town of Trun and its name comes from the Bulgarian saint Sveta Petka, which is believed to have been inhabited for a long time by this rock shelter. You will enter a cave whose walls are painted with frescoes, and as soon as you leave the temple, you will see a view that will make you feel as if you have just seen the Garden of Eden - the village of Tran is really beautiful from the high.

The next sanctuary you deserve to visit is also a rock church. It is dug into a rock in the village of Matochina (Haskovo district) and dates back to the 10th century and until the middle of the 20th it was still used for worship. The church is relatively deep for the time it is dating - about 14 meters, and it can be reached by hand cut into the rock steps. The place has an incredible view and the energy that is felt on it is cosmic.

The next temple that we recommend to visit is not rock; He's under water. It's about the underwater chapel of St. Nicholas. It is located near Primorsko.
