10. Sheepstealer

Sheepstealer was one of the three wild dragons in westeros at the time of dance of dragons . During the civil war dragonriders were called to dragonstone to tame the three wild dragons many died and were injured in the attempts . During the taming, Sheepstealer killed more seeds than the other two wild dragons combined. A bastard girl named Nettles finally tamed Sheepstealer by feeding him a sheep every morning. She took part in the dance of dragons supporting the blacks .

9. Meleys

Meleys was also called the RED QUEEN . She was an old she dragon ,her ridder was Princess Rhaenys Targaryen .Meleys was the only dragon at the times of dance of dragons that people thought could beat Vhagar who was the last of the original three dragons of Aegon the Conqueror .She was one of the largest and oldest dragons during Dance of the dragons she was old and cunning and was no stranger to battle .
Princess Rhaenys with her dragon Meleys took part in the dance of the dragons .she fought against Vhagar and Sunfyre the mount of Aegon II .Meleys was defeated because she was overpowered by the two dragons and died at the battle of Rook’s Rest.

8. Syrax

Syrax was also a she dragon like Meleys .Her only rider was Rhaenyra Targaryen .she was named after a goddess of Valyria. Syrax color was yellow and she was a huge dragon and formidable but she wasn’t a fighter like caraxes . Rhaenyra used to keep her in chains and she used to be fed by the guards she didn’t hunted for years .
Syrax was slain in the dragonpit in Kings Landing during the storming of the dragonpit . she threw prince joffrey who had attempted to ride her who died from the fall . she kept on landing on the ground of the dragonpit to kill the mob but ultimately died .

7. Sunfyre

Sunfyre was also called Sunfyre the golden because he had gleaming gold scales which used to shine like beaten gold in sunlight .He is said to be the most beautiful dragon ever existed in westeros or even the whole world .
Sunfyre was the dragon of King Aegon II Targaryen . During the dance of the dragons Sunfyre and Vhagar met Meleys at the battle of Rooks Rest in which Meleys was defeated by Sunfyre and Vhagar .But Sunfyre was badly wounded in the fight as one wing was nearly torn of his body and he was unable to fly he later was able to fly but not like before he died later at dragonstone due to his wounds .

6. Caraxes

Caraxes was a dragon during the times of dance of dragons who died during the battle between him and huge Vhagar who was three times the size of Caraxes but no one survived the battle neither the dragons nor their riders .Caraxes rider was Prince Daemon Targaryen .
In the start of dance of the dragons Prince Daemon Targaryen landed atop Harrenhall .Later during the civil war Prince Daemon challenged Aemond Targaryen and Vhagar at Harrenhall . All four died at the Battle Above the Gods Eye .Even after Vhagar had used her teeth to tear off a wing and used her claws to open the belly of Caraxes ,still the small dragon locked his teeth on Vhagars throat and tore it out they all fell and died .Caraxes still managed to survive the fall but only for a while so he could pull himself out of the water on to the shore where he died infront of the walls of Harrenhall.

5. Drogon

Drogon was born in the dothraki sea and is commanded by Daenerys Targaryen he is named after khal Drogo Daeneyrs dead husband .By many people drogon is believed to be the reincarnation of Balerion the Dread .He is the largest and most aggressive of daenerys three dragons
In the latest season of game of thrones we have all witnessed what drogon is capable of the mighty dragon burned the slave master ships ,burned the lannister army and the army of the wights trying to save King in the North Jon Snow and his companions .Due to his size and aggressiveness some people suspect he can fight against Vhagar second powerfull dragon of Aegon Targaryen .

4. Vermithor

Vermithor also known as the Bronze Fury ,was a fully grown male dragon. His first rider was the Old King Jaehaerys I Targaryen and during the civil war Dance of the dragons Vermithor rider was a blacksmiths bastard Hugh Hammer .
Vermithor was one of the oldest dragons even when the Old king started riding Vermithor in his youth he was still the biggest dragon after Balerion and Vhagar .Vermithor was a powerfull large male dragon .His age was almost 100 years old during the dance of the dragons .His flames could melt steel and stone
Vermithor died during the civil war in which he fought against Seasmoke and Tessarion all three were riderless their riders were killed during the Battle .Vermithor mortally wounded Tessarion and killed Seasmoke but was also heavily injured and soon after the battle fell and died .Tessarion also died soon afterwards.

3. Meraxes

Meraxes was one of the great dragons which were used by Aegon the Conqueror and his sisters during the War of the Conquest .Maraxes was a she dragon and was named after an Valyrian Old God .Her ridder was Aegons sister Rhaenys Targaryen .
Meraxes was larger than Vhagar but smaller than Balerion .He had silver scales and golden eyes the only time all the three dragons were released on the battlefield they killed four thousand men including King Mern
Meraxes and Rhaenys both died during the First Dornish war at Hellhort after Meraxes was struck with an iron bolt from a scorpion into his eye . Meraxes skull used to hang in the throne room at Kings Landing until King Robbert had removed them from the throne room .

Vhagar was one of three Dragons used by Aegon Targaryen and his sisters .Vhagar rider was Visenya Targaryen and she was named after old Gods of Valyria .Vhagar breath was so hot that it could melt the armour of a knight
Durning the War of the Conquest Visenya rode Vhagar during the field of the fire and to the reach the Eyrie where Sharra Arryn bent her knee
During dance of the dragons Vhagar was the oldest and largest dragon in all of westeros he had almost reached the size of Balerion the dread they say Vhagars roar could shake the foundations of Storm’s End .No dragon during the civil war could match his size

1. Balerion the Dread

Balerion also called the Black Dread ,was the dragon of Aegon the Conqueror which he used during the war of the conquest he is regarded the strongest the largest and the most deadly dragon of the Targeryans .His fire was black as his scales he was so huge that he could swallow a mammoth his shadow used to cover towns when he passed overhead
During the war of the Conquest balerion burned harrenhall the most strongest castle build in westeros the towers of harrenhall burned the towers of Harrenhall like candles King Harren and his entire family died in the fire after that Aegon rode balerion to fight against King Mern creating the field of fire where Mern and his family died
Balerion died of old age around two hundred years old .
