[StarR] Three Kingdoms Period: In 208, the Battle of Red Cliffs broke out, and Cao Cao was defeated by the allied forces of Sun Quan and Liu Bei. The victory at Red Cliffs established the Three Kingdoms situation. Sun Quan's primary military activities took place in the Huai Nan region. After the Battle of Red Cliffs, Cao Cao’s forces repeatedly attacked the Ruxu area, with both sides having victories and losses.

[StarR] Sima Family Replaces the Cao Family (Usurpation of Wei): In 266, Sima Zhao's son, Sima Yan, forced the Emperor of Wei, Cao Huan, to abdicate and declared himself emperor, establishing the Jin Dynasty (also known as the Western Jin), with its capital at Luoyang. This marked the complete downfall of the Cao Wei state.

[StarR] The Eight Princes’ Rebellion: This was an internal conflict in the Western Jin period, triggered by the royal family fighting for control of the central government. It lasted for sixteen years and is divided into two phases:

The first phase lasted from the first year of Yuan Kang (291) in March to June, lasting three months.
The second phase lasted from the ninth year of Yuan Kang (299) to the first year of Guangxi (306), spanning seven years.
Although more than eight princes were involved in the turmoil, the eight princes were the main participants. As The Book of Jin groups the eight princes in one biographical section, this event is called the "Eight Princes’ Rebellion."
[StarR] The Southern Migration of the Elite: At the end of the Western Jin dynasty, Emperor Sima Rui of the Jin Dynasty crossed the Yangtze River, established his capital in Jiankang (modern-day Nanjing), and founded the Eastern Jin.
This was the first large-scale migration of the central plains' political authority and civilization to the south, from the capital of Luoyang to Jiankang (Nanjing). During the Jianwu period of the Jin Dynasty, Emperor Yuan of Jin led the Han Chinese population from the capital Luoyang to the south. This event is known as the "Yongjia Rebellion" and "Southern Migration of the Elite." It was the first large-scale migration from the central plains to the south.
