History of Dinajpur
After the last day.
Maharaja Girijanath Roy Bahadur is writing about the history of Dinajpur. Today, I am writing about the second episode.
There was a textbook for the boys of Dinajpur Rajbari. Maharaja Girijanath Roy Bahadur who attended the Pañasala Currently named Jubilee High School. Then he went to study at Benares Queens College. But his degree was not achieved. The reason is his child marriage. It was 1877.
In 1887, Maharaja Girijanath Rajbari was promoted to the School of Middle Vernacular.
Since then its name is Jubilee High School. In 1913, a breakthrough school was established in Dinajpur. After the personal effort of Maharaja Girijanath Roy Bahadur, Dinajpur became the unique school of education for the students after Zilaskul. Name of the school Maharaja Girijanath High School Students of this school can now contribute to different levels of Bangladesh.
He donated 10 bighas of land for construction of Raiganj high school. Which is now North Dinajpur district of West Bengal, India. In 1912, to overcome the problems of the students, he decided to resume the district
Construction of Leon Hostel on the south side of the school.
This is a great king history. The writer's pen is also stuck in which to write.
