Invention Of “RASGULLA” (a Popular sweet)
Rasgulla is name of a famous Indian sweet and it has been first invented in Kolkata (Westbengal) by Nobin Chandra Das in 1868. Apart from Westbengal state there is one another state in India known as Odisha also had claimed that Rasgulla was first invented in Odisha. After a long fight between two states for geographical identification Westbengal has got geographical identity of Rasgulla by Indian government and became popular with name of Banglar Rosogulla. The Westbengal government has celebrated Rasgulla day yesterday.
Westbengal government has applied for geographical identity in 2016 and he got the tag in 2017. It is really proud for Westbengal and India because Rasgulla was invented here which is the famous and tasty sweet of world now.
It has rounded shapes and made by using Chhena and Sugar generally.

I love rasgulla, actually the North Andaman too has some famous rasgullas but the andamanese can't claim the credit for this as the shops are owned by people who are from WB.
So it doesn't matter who invented the sweet, it's a sweet and everyone should enjoy it.
He was from WB hence he doesn't need to claim but so far Andamanese concern they know the reality hence they don't want waste time in any claim they know to enjoy only. 🤩👈
