Trujilandiando, a look at our peoples.

in #history7 years ago

Hello dear friends of Steemit Today I want to continue with this blog that I have raised, offering a closer look of my small town Trujillano and its magical, colonial and tourist places.

This time we will visit the Cathedral of Our Lady of Peace, a temple of baroque and romantic style, was the first Catholic church to support the cause of Independence, a construction that dates from the XVII century to be exact 1630 and its heritage importance was declared a historic monument of the nation in 1960.

By the year one thousand six hundred

with cedars from the same area

built this cathedral

a large number of people

of the antañona era

the din of their bells

on a boat they brought it

from very distant lands

at the top of the tower

the clock dials the time

with its baroque style

hurry my lady!

History Center

For me the living history of our people, national historical monument, "House of the Proclamation of War to Death" on June 15, 1813, here in this house in 1820 our great Libertador Simón Bolívar stayed, upon entering we went back in This wonderful colonial period and we appreciate a journey that takes us back to those times of yesteryear, being able to enjoy the quantity of objects of great value in our history and our origins.

Nice colonial house

center story engalana

closes important date

of Venezuelan independence

its huge windows

and its majestic entrance

give excellence to the museum

in a beautiful way

In the valley of the mukas

finally Trujillo quiets down

building this beautiful house

with style of the time

house where Bolívar slept

and sign a severe decree

with its mud walls

because there was no concrete.

I love this idea!!! This is such a beautiful way to use poetry to write about something that is really important - aspects and parts of you as it is your hometown and it has been with you on your journey on being who you are today! Very interesting to look at new places and to really feel it in different ways, like in more dimensions! I love this, and would love to follow you further to follow the journey as well!

You are by the way mentioned in the Hunt Curation #9: an article made for @poetsunited to find great poets and poetry - you are one of those!!
