Tribute to the centenary of Fatima's Virgin
100 years ago, on May 13, 1917, three children began to witness numerous apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Fatima (Portugal). For all Catholics and faithful of the Holy Mother, these apparitions brought with them many predictions about events that would occur in the world from that moment on. The young Lucía dos Santos, Jacinta and Francisco Marto, began their journey of faith, and began a movement that has crossed the borders of their land, reaching worldwide fame among Catholics and faithful to the Holy Mother of God.

Each year is celebrated its appearance in different parts of the world, and was expected a great event for the 100th anniversary of its appearance, for now I will tell my personal experience to have been a member of the choir of "100 voices of fatima" Was presented this Saturday May 13 at the "Our Lady of Fatima" Church, located in the Sucre neighborhood of San Cristobal, Táchira state - Venezuela.

I was interviewed to know the type of voice in which I could develop, and being a baritone, I was selected by my wide sound spectrum as Tenor. The trials began in the midst of many personal problems and in the midst of the crisis that is being experienced in this beautiful land (the alleged Queen of the South: Venezuela), during numerous trials it became impossible to meet, because one block from the church are developed Anti-government protests and clashes with "colectivos", military and Bolivarian national police; Notwithstanding the dedication that each of the members deposited in this choir was rewarded with successful trials.
I could find no explanation for things that happened in my personal life, but as I went to rehearsals, my problems slowly but effectively diminished
Finally the day arrived, we got ready inside the church to sing and curiously those who came turned to see us sing, they paid us much attention, and not only did we have the address of our teacher and director, Professor Maria Zaralet, We had the firm but compassionate hand of Father Lucio, who made some slight but good modifications to some of the songs. In addition we counted on excellent musicians, who adorned the melody with which we sang.

The people was eagerly waiting to hear us sing, and with 120 voices (men and women of all ages, as well as boys and girls), they only recorded and took pictures to comment when they arrived home.
With a total of 100 songs, the choir of the "100 coves of Fatima" celebrated with great devotion the love that the Holy Mother of God has for having appeared to three innocent children and for having brought us such important messages.
We were very grateful for the choristers, the musicians, the parishioners and the ecclesiastical community. It was a great event. But after singing we could see an image of the arrangement that was made in Portugal to the image of the Virgin in this centenary.
