Best recounts of history

I love history, I mean I really love history. I find it incredibly fascinating to be able to look back and decipher what world leaders throughout many influential eras were thinking during some of their most decisive moments of life. Although it also depends greatly on the source delivering this information to keep my interest and no everything is not the same.

I prefer to listen to someone that grabs my attention yet cites sources and is very clear, deliberate, and thorough on the subject being discussed. I have found that source to be Dan Carlin. If you haven’t heard Dan’s pod cast then you need to visit his website Dan Carlin.com. His pod cast is called Dan Carlin’s Hardcore History and it is just that, raw and real in depth history. Dan dives deep into the books delivering some of the most complete recollection of events that I have ever listened to in any history discussion.
