Lincoln New Mexico and the history of Billy the kid

Me and Rain Drop have been hiking the desert of New Mexico for a few days and visiting the small towns like Roswell and Lincoln.

The weather is good during the day and cold at night. But I am having a great time in Lincoln and checking out the historical and outlaw scenario of New Mexico.

I grew up watching young guns and I always wanted to come here. The town of Lincoln is almost unchanged from the days of Billy the kid and I almost don't want to leave.

We are having a blast and I think Rain Drop really likes it here in Lincoln.

There is not much in Lincoln other than the historical buildings and visitors center. There is a brewery called Bonito Valley Brewery with excellent beer and wine. The people here are very nice and informative too.

I highly recommend the Bonito Valley Brewery for a tasty brew and friendly folks to get a break.

We will be heading to the CDT trail soon so I hope you can keep up with the Cloud and Rain Drop.
