Let's not forget that ages before the Wright Brothers took to the air, the indigenous Australian Aboriginal People had mastered and perfected flight with their boomerangs!
It is great to read your post. I have not heard about the flight developed by the aboriginal people.
While they didn't actually develop aircraft and flights carrying people as the Wright Brothers did, they did create one of the most aerodynamic devices that would lift a piece of wood into the air, fly outwards and retun to the thrower.
Now that is pretty impressive!!
Wow. Sounds really incredible, to say the least. I will appreciate if you could help me with a link to this amazing fact.
Here's some useful information @gandhibaba - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boomerang
Boomerang
A boomerang is a thrown tool, typically constructed as a flat airfoil, that is designed to spin about an axis perpendicular to the direction of its flight. A returning boomerang is designed to return to the thrower. It is well known as a weapon used by Indigenous Australians for hunting.
Boomerangs have been historically used for hunting, as well as a sport, and entertainment.
Thank you @cause-no-harm for these lessons. I find them really educative. You are being followed. Regards
Thank you!
