Really though, name one other song my her that had the impact of "nothing compares" and she didn't even write that. Prince did didn't he? Being Christian, but not Catholic, they were more concerned about us listening to people like Madonna, 2 Live Crew, and the beastie boys.

That is a very good point. I don't think 95% of the world knows any other song by her. And yes, it was a prince song... I heard stories that while it appears to be about a significant other, the song is actually about cigarettes and how tough they are to give up.
