Travelers And Scientists in First And Middle Ages // PART 1 \\
Hello everyone. I would like to mention some important people in history. But I will not tell a long story. Because I do not want you to get bored and I want these people to stay in your mind. I hope you like this article. Lets start then.
Heredotus
His nickname is "the father of history". B.C. 5. in the century It is a Greek scholar who lived. Herodot 's greatest work is Herodot' s history - named book.
Archimedes
Archimedes lived between B.C. 287 – 212. He found the water lifting force. He is a Greek born in Sicily. He's a mathematician, physicist, astronomer, philosopher and engineer. For the first time, he was a scientist who revealed the principles of equilibrium.
Hippocrates
He said that people was made of 4 material. He is considered the father of medicine. According to her, the first rule of medicine is "Do not harm first".
Ptolemy
He is a cogographer and a traveler. There is not much information about her life. Perhaps an Egyptian of Greek origin, or perhaps a Greek of Egyptian Origin.
Abdulhamit Ibni Turk
He is a Turkish Muslim mathematician who lived in the ninth century. He has dealt with algebra and trigonometry. He is a rare Turkish scientist carrying a Turkish nickname in history.
Omar Hayyam
He is an Iranian, astronomer, scientist, poet, scholar and philosopher. Omer Hayyam, famous for his ruby, is a very good mathematician at the same time. He is the first scientist to use the Binomial expansion. Omar Hayyam is the founder of the rubai species in Iran and Eastern literature.
Farghani
He was lived in the 9th century. He is a scholar of astronomy and Mathematics. He said it was the first time that the sun was turning around it. Italian artist Dante was influenced by Farghani .
Alhazen (Ibn al Haytham)
He is known as the first true scientist in the World. He is the first person to find that photo machine. He is the greatest optic of all time. He found the dark room for photo machine.
Ibn Sina
He has been interested in various fields such as philosophy, mathematics, astronomy, physics, chemistry, medicine and music. His nickname is “The Ruler Of Medicine”. He has many books about medicine.
Al-Ghazali
He is a Muslim scientist. He tried to explain "logic" with the Quran.
Geber – Abu Musa Jabir Ibn Hayyan
He is The Turkish-Islamic scholar. He lived in 8. and 9. Centuries. He is the founder of modern chemistry. He discovered many asids. He suggested that the atom would be torn apart. He found the Distiller. Distiller name is “imbik”. He found the artificial gold. He used the for the first time delicate balance.
Al-Jazari
He lived between 1136 and 1206. He is the founder of robotics and cybernetic science. The oldest known written record about Robotics belongs to Jazari. He found the sun clock. Leonar da Vinci was influenced by Al-Jazari.
Harezmi
Harezmi is a Turkish and a Muslim. He's the founder of algebra. He is the first person to use "0" and "X".
Farabi
He lived between 879-950. Farabi studied philosophy, sociology, medicine and astronomy. He started positive sciences.
Çağmini (Turkish name) He lived between 1151-1221. His nickname “Father of Astronomers”.
