City underground 3000-year-old was discovered by chance (Photo)

 Kapadoça located in eastern Turkey, and bounded on the north by the Black Sea and south by mountains Taurs. In 1963, a mere reconstruction of the city Derinkuyu led to the discovery of fabulous. Stone gate that leads into a cave and that lead to an underground city, thousands of years old and about 85 meters deep.

 There are 13 floors to descend underground, ventilation system and about fifteen thousand branches that carry air in deeper levels. But what is incredible is the fact that the underground city can live about 20 thousand people. Even there are also traces of religious centers, warehouse, wine cellar and stables for animals. In the dining room are found underground, blackened by soot kitchens, grocery stores, a school, numerous rooms and even a bar.

 
The city has benefited from the presence of an underground river and water wells. It was a small town that meet most of the needs of the community that even today amazes researchers and scientists. Build a city like Derinkuyu, it would be a common thing in modern times, using the most sophisticated equipment. But to think that such an act is carried out in a very remote age, it is amazing, comparable only with the pyramids of Egypt. 

 
At Derinkuyu, because of the softness of the stone, the builders had to be very careful to ensure sufficient support on the upper floors with columns. In contrast disaster would happen.  Speaking of ancient peoples, it is difficult to imagine how they accomplished such a work. Perhaps they helped by any other civilization? But who built this underground city? According to many archaeologists and scholars, Derinkuyu is likely to have service as a temporary shelter during the occupation and that the city was built around 800 BC by the Phrygians, a Bronze Age people connected with Trojans. 

 
Others believe it was built by the Hittites, the warrior people mentioned in the Bible and that had flourished hundreds of years ago. But it is possible that the underground city be even older? According to the theory of "ancient astronauts", the city is probably several thousand years.
