International Mother Language Day
In 1952, a number of young people of Bangladesh took their voices to the streets of Dhaka, protesting the imposition of Urdu as their state language. They sacrificed their lives to retain the prestige of Bangla, their national identity, and culture. Their martyrs were brave and invincible that inspires them all to be courageous, determined, and liberal. With due respect to the pure-hearted martyrs of 1952 here are displayed some images.
