It covers an area of 14 hectares. Scholars and students from countries like China, Tibet, Persia and Greece were attracted to this university. This complex was destroyed in the 12th Century AD by a Turkish Muslim army.
The Gupta rulers founded this nine-storied historical university in the 5th century. According to prevailing beliefs, Lord Buddha visited this university during his last visit through Magadh.

The Lotus Temple, located in Delhi, India, is a Bahá'í House of Worship that was dedicated in December 1986, costing $10 million. Notable for its flowerlike shape, it has become a prominent attraction in the city.

British architect Henry Irwin designed the palace that you see at present. The significant element of this architecturally mesmerizing structure is the celebration of Dussehra here. On Dussehra, thousands of light bulbs accentuate its imposing profile against the dark illuminate this palace.
