Very nice post. Years ago I had a geography teacher that was in love with the Aztec culture (and Mexico in general). She shot around fifteen hours of video footage while on vacation and spent around three weeks teaching us all from first had experience. As well, she had a 6ft Aztec calendar that hung on the back wall. It stuck with me and changed the way I view our neighbors to the south (Mexico). I didn’t know that, years later I would be living in such a heavily Mexican influenced culture (Houston Tx, US).
Ironically, her name was Ms. Germany : )
