Back in the days, we had "whale hunting" as a sport on STEEM, vote, before the whales do, was the rule of the game. Well, nowadays that was near impossible... until now.

This is how you do it!
If you go to https://steemd.com/@frontrunner, that account votes before the @booster bot votes, and therefore if you trail it with the exact percentage as @frontrunner does, you will perfectly be able to make the best curation rewards on steem because of this knowledge.
Now, if you do not want to run a bot, or know of any other services, you can dump your account and posting-key to http://frontrunner.steemspeak.com and you will be added if you have enough steempower to slide your vote up or down.

What's with all the bots I hear about. Are they voting bots? And how does the whole voting thing work?
Votes = money on steemit. So people have created bots to vote and make money. Steemit's voting system, while its intentions are good, is still very flawed and easy to game unfortunately.

You are actually correct, it is "easily gamed" but it is up to the Community if we let this go on or not. You see, STEEMIT is a grand experiment in Self-Governance, and we must all band together and police ourselves. If we cannot do this, Steemit might fail and for sure, an Anarcho-Capitalistic future takes a BIG HIT, as this is so far, IMO, the largest scale trial of Self-Governance I have ever heard of. We have our own Money (steem) our own society (Steemit) and our own government... oops, wait a minute! No Government! No Rules! (almost) and NO POLICE! Well, we do have @berniesanders as the Sheriff! 😉 He needs Help, though. We all have to do our part! You have a relatively large upvote, and OOPS, you have actually been here longer than my "main account" ☺️ But at least I stand by my anarchocapitalist comments, and really think that we DO need to self-govern.

I have been doing that and you get a Frontrunner Trail of votes, in a similar (or same) proportion as your Booster Vote. It is a whole STRING of votes, some are over $1 (or more) and some are very small, but it is a large # of added votes as well. I was amazed at the volume of votes!
