STAND UP, SPEAK UP, STAND OUT!
You might wonder what these phrases actually mean. They sound like command, don’t they? They are actually commands for you to get up and make yourself visible. You aren’t going to feel like doing these but you have to force yourself. It’s time you stood up, spoke up and stood out from the crowd.

Taking a look at the phrase, Stand up which literally means to get yourself into an upright position on your feet, you need to ask yourself these questions. Do you stand up in your class or any gathering to answer a question, ask a question or air your view? Or just sit there and watch others. Stand up! don’t just sit and watch. Standing up gives you strength, courage and makes you visible. Are you down cast, confused or weak? Just try to stand up and make a move. Your sitting at that position will not do you any good. Standing up is taking a decision; it is important you stand up. To speak and stand out you need to stand up first. Sitting down could be a sign of laziness, weakness, inferiority, mediocrity and indulgence. Would you like to be described with any of these? So, stand up!

Having stood up you need to Speak up. This means giving your opinion about something in the public. You have amazing ideas bubbling in your mind, don’t kill them, intelligent questions you have to ask, excellent and perfect answer you have to give. Why not say it, say it loud for people to hear. Don’t hold it back, do not keep it to yourself, your answer or idea might be the best. Your question might solve a lot of puzzles in the mind of others. Your voice may rescue and heal the wound of someone. In the words of Madonna, “A lot of people are afraid to say what they want. That’s why they don’t get what they want.” So, say it, you never can tell you may have it. Say something to make things better, don’t bottle it. Not speaking could mean timidity, fear and lack of courage or inspiration. So, speak up!

Your standing up and speaking up makes you Stand out. Standing out means you are conspicuous, noticeable and distinctive. It also means you do not conform to the actions, opinions and desires of the majority. Quality should be your core value, do everything with excellence in mind. Be useful, helpful, and volunteer for special assignments. All these will create a great impression about you and make you stand out. You are not like any other person, know that you are unique. So, don’t try to do what others do or go their way. You should have moral and godly principles guiding your lifestyle. Be noticed in the right way. Don’t just struggle to fit in when you are meant to stand out. Would you like to be the personality that is very important, famous, excellent, renowned and successful? Then, stand out!

Stand up and speak up for your belief and passion, choose to be seen and heard, go from being invisible to being visible. Well, this is a personal choice but for a person that wants to be significant in life, you cannot but Stand up! Speak up! and Stand out!
