Hey Steemian, Adil here and we got some Big Changes Coming This Tuesday!
Firstly, Let's look at Distribution of Steem $$$
- Do you see that Little green line?
- Take your time find it... You might need to use a Zoom.
- That's where about 85% of Steemians are.
- About 75% is owned by the 1%
Okay so what's the Hype behind this Update that's happening?
Linear Rewards
Everyone's Say Will now Be Directly Proportional to their Stake in steem (steem Power)
400% Voter's Impact!
In simple terms, everyone will be able to Reward with 400% More Upvote Moneys than Now.
- Important to Note that Voters Will Still Have the Same Limits as they used to. Just now they can Reward more at once, In stead of spreading their rewards little by little. If they choose to!
Consequences -
People with Power now can Max Upvote their own content and make more money or they can comment 15 Times and Give all the money to themselves...
I am not sure if that's a good thing or a bad one. Nonetheless It's happening.
At least now they can give More to You my fellow steemian :)
Other than that:
- They fixed several bugs
- Increased speed on various parts of the website

Thanks adil, and this is a great read in simple format on the coming hf19. Just wonder as i am reading somewhere else about this is to help minnow getting more share of steem, but if people with power can give his own post more money, so what about the minnow?
If you ask me Steem is Unfair to the Minnow. But then it's proportionate to real life. Minnows in real life struggle as well and 1% has all the moneys.
The Minnow will have to hope that some power will go to them and do their best to grow
Thanks but that is life right, i just think the opportunity is up for grab to be a better position in steemit, cant be posting few stories and getting 0.01 and few they are too little and quit. There are alot of whales and other steemian offering help too. So let work hard :)

I just resteemed this as it's very useful to everyone who reads this. What do you mean by linear rewards? I thought that already now the more Steem Power you have the more money you make!
It was Kind of linear, there was a formula that they use in the algorithm. Now it will be just straight up Linear.
So you do know what's the minimum Steem Power to earn something on comments? It seems pretty confusing at the moment.
SteemPower / VotesPerDay = This is the Formula Now.
SteemPower + Votes Per day determines how much power you have.
Now it will be linear
Oh You mean to Earn something. There is no minimum You can start earning $ Now. You will be paid out in 7 days Though.
