Have no fear, shirtless or no, we are wearing Shorts and thar Be Juju here! This has been our experience, real or not, and we hope that sharing is useful for others.

This post was inspired by one of our muses, who as of now would prefer to remain anonymous.

We had a chat with him recently and he pointed out that a lot of things are already there that can be magical. We briefly talked about this in our Basic Shielding post; how far we go with this is only limited by our imagination.

The biggest challenge here is that we are taught from a young age to “stop fantasizing” and to just let shit happen around us. We lose our sense of wonder and love in the world. We learn to explain away more and more of the mystical things around us.

We lose the ability to see these things when we lose the ability to think like them, so how do we get that back? We just look for the intended effect and just make that happen instead. Stuff we want to do is a lot easier to relate to when we don’t require the special effects to be there. Sometimes all we really need is seeing what our goals are, and what the path there looks like. That in and of itself can be some of the most effective Juju we know: time, energy, and resource management. When we can manage these, it won’t matter if we have the shiny lights or not. We can still get stuff done.

We think that they’re out there somewhere, but still don’t see a clear path to that future. We’ll just move on to the next step and check back later.

Who will walk with us?
