The ICO is over

In this post, I want to give you a short overview about the progress of HEROcoin.

The ICO closed 10 days ago, on 16th of October with little more than 6000 ETH raised and around 2500 unique participants. This is equivalent to $2 million USD.
Aimed Soft Cap has been $14 million USD which was obviously not reached. Nevertheless, the Team is able to ensure a further development of the project and everything is on track.

As wished by the community and promised by the team, all unsold Tokens are burned (the initial ratio of 70/30 is kept).

Round 76 million PLAY are issued to participants, excluding bounty Tokens. Bounty Tokens will be approximately 12 - 14 million PLAY. All submissions (over 1000! participants) are currently under checking processes, expected to be finished by next week latest.

Survey findings

During the ICO, I was running a little survey to collect some data about the community. The following three findings are the most interesting ones.

95 survey participants - thanks to everyone who contributed.

Nearly 60% of all contributors spent one or more ETH.
Round 50% of those invested between one and five ETH.

The overall average from the ICO was between two to three ETH which shows that the survey is quite representative.

55% want to keep their PLAY at least until Q4 2018 which is a great sign for an increase in value.
Nearly 20% want to keep it as long as possible to profit from the pool reward which is expected to start in Q2 2018 latest.

If you don't hold PLAY yet, don't worry! The Token will hit the exchange in November. Rumours says it gets listed on HitBTC first.

More then the half of all participants are thinking about to use PLAY on Herosphere, the HERO own platform. This is also a very positive recognition since this means the pool reward will have a certain volume.
12% don't know Herosphere - if you are one of those then check it out, it is really a cool and platform!
