Farewell and RIP Captain Sir Tom - You were the best of us all

Just a quick post to remember an amazing man who sadly passed away yesterday from Coronavirus. He lived to see his 100th birthday, fought in the second world war, and in his final year galvanised a country as well as the world, in the grip of a pandemic. He raised £33 million for our health service, the NHS, by walking 100 laps of his garden, he is now the oldest person to top the pop charts, wrote a book, was knighted by the Queen, became a TV star, a true hero too, and all the while he was humble, optimistic and we all loved him.

Tomorrow is going to be a better day... That's what he used to say. I hope so...
