Herbal Hair Tonic: Make a herbal hair tonic to promote the health the of the hairs. Write the herbs used in the tonic. Explain how the tonic will help for hair health. Write the step by step process of making hair tonic. (3 Marks)
Currently, I am in my village, so I can make hair tonic with some herbs. All of the herbs were collected from plants just before making this special hair oil.
Herbs Used in the Tonic
- Hibiscus Leaves: We all are aware of Hibiscus. It Stimulates our hair growth, reduces extreme dandruff, and makes our hair shiny.
- Hibiscus Flower: This flower makes our hair soften and prevents split ends.
- Coconut Oil: As all coconut oil brand says, it Nourishes the scalp and prevents the dryness of the scalp as well as hair. It also reduces the breakage of our hair.
- Aloe Vera: It mainly works for soothing. Moisturizes the scalp, soothes irritation, and strengthens hair.
- Black Seed: It is an important ingredient for hair growth, reduces hair fall, and improves scalp health.
- Henna Leaves: Natural conditioner is henna leaves and strengthens our hair. Conditions the hair, reduces frizz, and adds a natural shine.
- Onion: It is an exclusive ingredient for Boosting collagen production, nourishing hair follicles, and reducing hair fall.
- Fenugreek seeds: It works for hair growth. It helps straighten hair and reduce dryness.
How This Tonic Benefits Hair Health
Aloe vera, Hibiscus, Onion, Fenugreek seeds and black seeds promote hair growth. Onion is rich in sulfur and antioxidants, which increase collagen production and boost hair growth. Hibiscus flowers and leaves are rich in flavonoids and amino acids. It helps stimulate blood flow to our hair follicles thereby encouraging new hair formation. The amino acids present in it promote healthy hair growth by stimulating the hair follicles. Fenugreek contains protein, lecithin, and many minerals that help in the growth of new hair.
Nourishes and Moisturizes
Aloe vera helps in hair growth along with its natural moisturizing properties which makes the hair silky. Coconut oil deeply hydrates the scalp. Fenugreek seeds help nourishing and moisturizing our hair.
Reduces Hair Fall
Fenugreek seeds are rich in proteins and nicotinic acid to reduce hair fall. Henna leaves prevent hair breakage and make our hair stronger. Onion prevents thinning and reduces hair fall. Black seed and hibiscus leaves, flower strengthen hair follicles and reduce hair fall.
Conditions the Hair
Henna leaves and hibiscus flower naturally condition hair, making hair soft, manageable, and super shiny. Fenugreek seeds also condition the hair.
Improves Scalp Health
Aloe vera and black seed fight scalp infections. They reduce the itchiness of the scalp. Aloe vera helps maintain pH balance.
Prevents Premature Greying
Hibiscus Leaves and Flowers prevent premature greying with its natural pigmentation feature. Henna leaves widely used for enhancing hair colour with natural dye. Fenugreek seeds have essential nutrients for maintaining hair colour.
The process of making the Herbal Hair Tonic
Ingredients

Making Process
Step- I
First I gathered all the ingredients. I collected these all from my village. When I was gathering the ingredients, I didn't have an aloe vera plant nearby so I decided to use aloe vera gel. But when I started making it, my younger brother bought an aloe vera plant for me.
Step-II
First I peeled the onions and cut them into pieces. There is no specific shape required, you can cut them however you want with a knife. Then I tore off the hibiscus leaves.
Step-III
Then I mixed all the ingredients except aloe vera and coconut oil. Here I used a little water because I will boil all the ingredients. This will bring out the essence of the leaves and flowers.
Step- IV
In this step, I added coconut oil and aloe vera. Then I put them on the stove to boil for a while. I boiled them well for about 10 to 15 minutes. After 5 to 7 minutes of boiling, it got a beautiful colour due to the henna leaves.
Step- V
In the last step, when the ingredients were boiled, I separated the extract with the help of a strainer. And this is my super hair tonic for today. It contains not only oil but also a little water.
How to Use:
- Before Application warm this super tonic
- Apply it to your scalp and hair.
- Let it sit for at least 2 hours or a few more hours for better result
- Try to apply at least 2 times a week for best results.
Skin Care Mask: Prepare a mask for the skin purely made with the herbs and use at least 3 herbs to prepare a mask. Write down the procedure and explain how it helps with skin care. (3 Marks)

Step- I
First I gathered all the ingredients. Then I paste neem leaves finely. You can take 1 tbs of neem paste.
Step-II
Then I paste Turmeric and make thin paste. Add with neem paste.
Step-III
Then I mixed aloe vera gel with neem and turmeric paste.
Step-IV
Then I mixed all the ingredients with milk. Here, I used a little milk to make the paste. I think we know the benefits of raw milk for skin glowing.

In this step, I show you how to apply this home remedy for skin care. |

How To Use This Mask:
- Before Application, clean your face gently using only water.
- Apply it to your face.
- Let it sit for at least 15 minutes
- Try to apply at least 2 times a week for best results.
- Rinse with water if you feel allergic tony of the used ingredients, especially the aloe vera.
How It Helps for Skin Care
Hydration and Moisturization
Aloe vera and milk deeply hydrate our skin and help it to keep it soft.It enhances moisture and works to prevent dryness.
Skin Brightening and Even Tone
Turmeric and milk work together to brighten our skin, reduce dark spots, pigmentation, and uneven skin tone. Raw turmaric is best for skin brighting. Neem helps reduce dark spots.
Anti-Aging Properties
Aloe vera improves skin elasticity. Neem leaves shows aging.
Acne and Inflammation Control
Turmeric and neem leaves antimicrobial properties fight bacteria, which are responsible for acne or pimples, and aloe vera soothes redness and inflammation rapidly.
Relaxing Bath Soak: Make a bath soak with herbs and write about its benefits for relaxation and self care.

Step- I
First I gathered all the ingredients. All these ingredients were collected fresh from the plant exclusively for this lesson.
Step-II
I take a pot and add water. Heat the stove and let it boil.
Step-III
Then I add cinnamon and let it boil for more 5 minutes and when the colour of water changed it pour it.
