Henna is a very simple but a very beautiful art. It is very familiar in the name of mehendi in India.Indian people just love to apply it on every occasion. Henna usually comes from leaves of a tree called Hina. Basically henna is a dye which is used for temporary body art and hair dye as well as it can be used in fabrics. For applying it, a paste is prepared from the fresh hina leaves along with some water or lemon juice and followed by little amount of sugar. Also tea tree or lavender essential oil can be used for dark color. Then this paste can be used by a stick or can be put inside a cone to apply on skin.
Many people asked me "what to do after applying henna on skin.Shall I wash it ? "
But no need to wash it off as it will get dry and flake off on its own.To achieve the best possible stain, the paste should be left on your skin for at least 2 to 3 hours. The longer the paste stays on your skin (up to an over-night period), u will get the best stain. When the paste flakes off the skin apply some moisturizing lotion or any unscented oil. Try to avoid using water or scrubbing the henna as much as possible. So that it will stay for a longer period.

Hope this article will be helpful to people those who just love henna art ❤️❤️❤️
