RE: SEC S20W2 || Hemoglobin - Module 2

Thank you for the detailed review, but I wanted to clarify my thought process for Task 5. When I read the instruction to provide a real-life example, I aimed to go beyond just repeating classroom examples. I thought using creativity to explain how hematocrit varies in real-world scenarios, like mountaineers in high altitudes or athletes using EPO to manipulate hematocrit, would be relevant and insightful. These aren’t purely medical references but actual, observable situations where hematocrit plays a key role, reflecting real-world implications.

I believe stepping out of the box and applying these concepts creatively enriches the discussion. I didn’t realize the task was specifically asking us to stick to classroom analogies like sand and water. I thought creativity meant introducing fresh perspectives, which is what I tried to do with the examples I mentioned.

Thank you again for the feedback. I will keep this in mind for future tasks, but I hope you also see the value in expanding beyond the lecture examples to make the concept more relatable to various real-life situations.

Thank you for your understanding. You have tried your best. And make it clear that despite being an unconventional example, something can and should be done that will reflect percentages (just as hematocrit is expressed in percentages)

Thank you for your kind words and understanding! I appreciate your feedback on the examples. I’ll definitely keep in mind the importance of using more conventional analogies while still trying to be creative. Your guidance really helps me improve, and I’m excited to keep learning! 😊
