IS THE WEBSITE BROKEN OR MY COMPUTER
For the first 5 or 6 days I got these little red tabs saying
how many comments, reply's & new posts were happening,
I haven't seen one of those for a couple days now.
I kind of miss them. I'd like to fix whatever if I can.
Anyone have any clues ? Did they change the site ?

Firefox, it's current, still no red tag notices for new posts, comments or replies.
That is very odd.
After I did a couple of tries on Discord, for a few days a very quick notice would show up on the bottom right hand side of my screen, then it just stopped although I occasionally think I hear the binging noise.
There must be a reason for it.
Maybe it is part of joining that you will get notices for a few days to get your attention.
I asked the question on 'discord and was told that there is a MUTE option. Look on the left hand side and right click and the options will show up.
Good post, I've been wondering the same; my notifications have stopped too, after around a week too. Its kinda crucial to get these notifications otherwise you can end up looking ignorant for not replying to people who comment or ask questions.
Exactly, I tried downloading an RSS reader and I don't like that solution, deleted it already. I wish Steemit had a way to direct these issue in to the developers so they can maintain a feel for what we are experiencing.
I used to do allot of php/mySQL programming back in college and I know, it is essential for there to be some kind of feedback loop so problems can be resolved in real time. I haven't found that here yet.

I'm going to focus on reaching the development team. Although I'm not sure how as of yet.
Hello my friend Roger, been noticing that as well, the feed is behaving strange as well. I miss the red alert buttons too. Comments seem nonexistent, was thinking it was the internet service. 🐓🐓
