Don't really know where to start from...

Do i really need to introduce myself? OK, i think it's necessary since I'm new here; it'll be fast and fact, I am Kristy, I'm a counselor, CO founder of Counseling Singles.

and this is me...

a friend introduced me steemit 2weeks ago and i took the impulse to register, now I'm here but don't know what else to do, kindly tell me what to do next. though I've been making some explorative search but i'm not satisfied. heard of FOLLOWERS; don't even know how to get them, UPVOTES; still a mystery on how to get that. help guys

Yes, an introduction is a good way to start. Otherwise it is like the person just sitting in the room watching others do their thing. The best advice I can tell you is to get on the discord channels for advice, pay attention to what's going on but don't get lost in the mix of it all. All of the best. Also, don't do the "whoring" method as some people call it begging for followers when you interact with people. Usually it doesn't work out for the best.
