Steem will never be a get rich quick scheme. You need to build a following organically. Write about what you love, where you live, what you like to do and above all engage with others. Visit other posts about subjects that interest you, read them and leave a comment (but asking for upvotes is not recommended). People will start to visit your posts, and comment and upvote. It's a slow build, but work up to it, stick with and most of all have fun. Forget the monetary side and enjoy the social side. The rewards will take care of themselves in the long run.
