Steemit Beginners Guide: How and When to Up-vote! Why you need to know this.
Hey there, new Steemit members. Do you know that you can earn, just by up-voting/curating other people’s posts. Well, even your own for that matter. I want to show you how to properly curate, in order to maximize your profit.
Let assume that, you already know that voting power depends of amount of Steem power you have in your wallet. But, do you knew that, time when you curate somebody’s post is also playing a big role? Yes, that’s right. Correct timing can bring you lots of benefits. It’s 30 min rule. I will tell you when is right time to curate.
First of all, read content before curating. Don’t curate popular articles. I can bet that at least half of curators on my posts, don’t even read what I’m writing about. They just see headline and post reward.
When you read it, check time when article is posted. This really matters. Because, when you curate post few minutes after his publishing, you give all curation reward to author. And after 30 minutes all curator rewards goes to curator, and that’s you. Remmeber that, vote weight depends of amount of Steem Power. For example :
-If you vote immediatly or in first 3 minutes after article posting you give all your reward to author.
-If you vote 15 minutes after posting, you give 50% of your curation reward to author.
-If you vote 30 minutes after posting, all curator reward goes to you.
You can check you voting power here : steemstats
You can check you curator earning here : curation estimator
Recommended number of upvotes per 24h is somewhere about 15, cause your voting power.
If you a beginner, you can also upvote your own post immediatly after publishing it. So you give all reward to yourself :)
Thanks for reading, I hope that you’l follow this tips in order to increase your earnings from curations.
