Question regarding Author Payouts and 1 week in Steemit Aniversary
Question
Just wanted to get some information regarding what happens in the following scenario.
You write a post and after 24 hours the payout is 5$ a week later a whale upvotes and you go up to 15$
Having already received the payout what happens do you receive an extra payout 24 hours after the upvote or not.
Something like this has happened to me and as I am pretty new here so I was looking for answers here.
I'm currently at just about 76 SP so I still have a long ways to go.

As you can see by the date below its been a week today!

I think 30 days after you posted you get a second payout if the post accumulated some steem after the first one.
Go to https://steemstats.com, add you username and you will see a list with your posts with information when you will get the next payout, and how much.
Also click on you post balance and a dropdown menu show you the information.

There are 2 payouts, one after 24 hours and another one after 30 days.
