Please Help! new account just got locked out

I need help. I just got accepted into steemit, when I got the email to join I copied the password into a notepad and hit accept my computer shutoff but i was able to recover the steemit tab so I'm still logged in but I don't have the password. Is there anything I can possibly do to keep my account?
