I love how it started with a story of a female team boycotting a game against another team that had a trans athlete. They didn't even play against the trans athlete. The woman quoted merely watched videos of the trans athlete.

The piece briefly acknowledges the crucial fact that USA volleyball requires trans athletes to complete one calendar year of testosterone suppression treatment and not exceed certain levels of testosterone. But spends most of the piece talking about differences between cisgender females and cisgender males.

And it just skirts over the fact that the team with the trans athlete endured hateful attacks after every forfeiture.

And the piece ends by mentioning that in the four years since the North Carolina High School Athletic Association allowed transgender athletes to play for the teams of their choosing, there were only two transgender females playing for women's teams in the state.
