Türk bayrağı, uğruna verilen onca canı ve dökülen tonlarca kanı temsilen kırmızı renktedir. Toprağın her karışında kendini cephelerde vatan uğruna siper etmiş şehitlerimizin kanı bulunmaktadır. Üzerindeki hilal, İslami bir sembol olmakla beraber savaş zamanında kanların üzerine yanındaki yıldızla beraber yansıyan görüntüsüyle de bilinmektedir.
