First steps
Lovecraft was born one morning in the year 1890. Lovecraft was an only child, so he had a rather lonely childhood. From a very early age I already had some curiosity about the somewhat dark and gloomy things such as, dry trees, caves ect. In that way his imagination grew as he imagined what would be the magical life in the forest with, fairies, goblins and fantastic creatures that he created in his mind.
Lovecraft was a child prodigy since in his school he recited poetry to his classmates at the age of 3 years and when he was 6 years old he already started writing his own poetry. His favorite genre was detective, that influence is noted in several of his works.

One of the things that most characterized lovecraft was his narrative style almost always in the first person. Most of its protagonists narrate situation in the past and through a newspaper. He inadvertently created a new style.

The protagonists of the Lovecraft stories are always led to the union of those dissociated knowledge. That's also how many of his stories begin. When such a thing happens, the mind of the protagonist or researcher, in general, is destroyed by the abysmal enormity of the discovered, being unable to assimilate such knowledge. Those who cross with manifestations, of the incomprehensible, and that makes them fall into absolute madness.

Lovecraft Mythos beings often use humans. In the tales of lovecraft appear worshipers of those cosmic deities that he created. Since in most stories these creatures are extremely powerful and indestructible according to our perception. In this way lovecraft gives us in a very dramatic way, how difficult and almost impossible it is to get out of that situation.

Lovecraft plays a lot with the theme of civilizations as a threat because it explains barbaric and primitive behavior. Another important thing is that most of the protagonists of lovecraft are intelligent and studied people. In the work The Dunwich Horror, we can see these two examples perfectly.

His influence in the world.
Lovecraft is one of those people well ahead of his time since he died being very little known because in his unfiltered stories he played very delicate and viral themes. However, that did not prevent his influence covering all the branches of entertainment such as. Cinema, literature, comics, video games. His lovecraftian mythology will inspire countless people in many areas. In the case of the famous writer Stehep king said more than once that lovecraft was his main in several of his books like It, Dance macabre, and several of his monsters in his book the dark tower. In the case of video games, the one that took the most monsters was the saga of Dark souls and Bloodboard, where you can clearly see many monsters from the mythology of lovecraft in the games.
