About this game
Hearts of Iron IV is a grand strategy video game developed by Paradox Development Studio and published by Paradox Interactive. It is the sequel to 2009's Hearts of Iron III along with the fourth principal installment in the Hearts of Iron series. Like previous games in the series, Hearts of Iron IV is a grand strategy war game that focuses on World War II. The participant can take control of any state on Earth in 1936 or 1939 and direct them to victory or conquer other states.
Development
Hearts of Iron IV was declared in 2014 and has been initially slated to get a late 2015 launch. In E3 2015, inventive manager Johan Anderson verified that the match could be pushed back from the first release window, together with the newest release date being scheduled to its first quarter of 2016. This was an effort to solve several problems encountered with the game.
