INTRODUCTION TO BALANCED DIET
A balanced diet is predominantly defined as the complementary combination of all the
essential nutrients required for the healthy and proper growth and nourishment of human
body.
In other words, all the components of food if taken in proper proportions and with a regular
intake, it is termed as balanced diet in the field of health.
CORRELATION
The apparent correlation itself is a stronger one. The field of medical science has proven time
and again that a balanced diet is very vital for the over health of individuals. This balanced
diet ensures that all of the physical needs are met and all the depletions of the various
constituents of energy are revitalized in the most effective and stable manner.
WISDOM
Our body requires various kind of components of energy. In the shape of water, minerals,
proteins, carbohydrates, fats, enzymes etc. All of the raw or finished food products contain a
mix of some of these or are primarily rich in one of the major components of nutrition.
For example, pulses are a good source of health as far as the ration of proteins and its need in
the body are concerned.
The meaty foods contain more and more fats and some of them are good enough for us if
consumed within the prescribed limits. Therefore, the point to understand is not to go crazy
with food in one direction. Better approach is to blend all the nutrients for best overall health
status.
