RE: Look What You're Throwing Away!
Good post!!! - In the sixties and seventies we were trying to teach people how to buy in bulk - - AND to NOT use corporate products - from soap to food.
Once out of high school I NEVER used another tampon or corporate made mentrual pad - - now there is the cup that many women find easy - - AND what we did back then and women did for thousands of years before corporate "feminine" products is use non-dyed cloth - preferably organic - then soak after use in a menstrual bowl or pot with a lid and wash - - the same for babies - - truly -- we should not have babies unless we prepare to use cloth diapers and clean them - - the use of disposalble diapers and menstrual cloths - tampons - - has caused GREAT pollution in the world - - as with hair dye, comsmetics, shampoos, etc. - It is important if one is concerned with global warming and/or climate change - - that you absolutely clean up your personal and famly habits - it starts with education - yes - but we have to clean up starting with ourselves - first.
Thank you @zarinangel, for your input and great ideas. And it's not as hard to do as people might think ....just choose one thing at a time to replace and create new habits!
