Why we should take grapes
Who doesn't enjoy sitting down and relaxing alongside a bowl of grapes? Well I certainly do. After all they taste amazing!
Grapes are colourful, sweet, plump, round and juicy. Table grapes come in three varieties : green, red and black / blue. I particularly like the red grapes. The red and black grapes are known to deliver a cluster of disease fighting antioxidants in addition to their delightful flavour.
Grapes have myriad of uses. As humans, grapes are beneficial to our health, skin and even hair.
Grapes contain nutrients that help prevent cancer, eye diseases, cardiovascular diseases, indigestion and other health conditions.
Resveratrol is a key nutrient in grapes that offer many health benefits. It's also a good source of fibre, water, potassium and a range of vitamins and minerals. It contains immunity boosting vitamin c, simple sugars that provide instant energy and anti-inflammatory antioxidants.
Grapes benefits to the skin include prevention of sunburn, makes skin supple and it helps lighten scars. For the hair, it prevents hair loss, makes hair shine and fights dandruff
However, grapes should be consumed in moderation because they contain fructose which may be harmful to health if consumed excessively.
Grapes are "easy to carry bite sized sweetness" and I love them!
