Christmas Blues: How to get over it

The holidays can be great. Family, food, presents, alcohol and everything in excess.

Time away from the from the gym making you feel you have a body like this.

Looking in the mirror with that belly of dad, finances out of shape, feeling you loved spending time with your friends and family.

A great book called a Brilliant Life by Michael Heppell. It allows you to assess where in your life you feel you currently are and more importantly, things you can do to improve it.

The main topics include Health, money, family, friends, relationships, vision, personal development and contribution.

For me, the major starting point is Health. Without a healthy body, spirit and mind all other elements will suffer.

  1. Drinking enough fresh water everyday
  2. Having a balanced diet
  3. Exercise
  4. Sleep, enough quality sleep
  5. Taking the right vitamins
  6. Celebrate the successes of all of the above daily
  7. Mindfulness and meditation.
