😭Why Crying is Good for Your Health
This is a no brainer for most women, we are emotional beings *(men too, they just hide it better😉) *and we just know by experience that crying makes us feel SO much better!
But crying not just helps you feel like the world has been lifted off your shoulders, but it's good for your health too.
"Research shows that:
- 85% of women and 73% of men felt less sad and angry after crying.
- On average, women cry 47 times a year, men cry 7 times a year.
- Crying bouts last 6 minutes on average.
- Tears are more often shed between 7 and 10 p.m."-AgingCare
Toxins
Tears help remove toxins in your body. When you are stressed, chemicals build up in your body and crying is your body's way of cleaning itself.
Stress
Ok, we all know this as we always feel lighter after a good cry. But stress puts unnecessary strain on your heart and hikes up your blood pressure. In other words, crying can actually be a life saver!
Emotional Relief
What was I saying about feeling lighter?
All mammals need a good cry every now and again. It ia unhealthy for you to keep everything bottled up and probably unfair when you lose your temper because of all the built up emotions.
When feel sad, angry or just downright frustrated and you feel that lump in your throat, Let it Go...
Ok, who else just got the Frozen song in their minds? 😁
