How to cure insomnia by yourself not using medicine
As the title said, I have a method for you to cure insomnia by yourself.
But I want to make it clear that I'm not a doctor. This is my experience to help me fall asleep easily.
So here's how you can do it:
First lying on your bed with comfort.
And close your eyes.
There's a voice in your mind. The voice that you say with yourself.
And you aim your mind to parts of your body.
Getting start with your foot.
You aim your mind to your right foot (or left) and say in your mind "relax, relax " (or something like this).
You say it slowly and feel your foot until you can feel the muscle of your foot is relaxed.
Then turning to your left foot (or right).
Now moving to the next part of your body, your hands and do the same thing.
Then your belly, your chest, your back, your shoulder, your neck...
And finally your head.
And you'll fall asleep unconsiously.
You should aim your mind to detail of each part. For ex, with your foot, you should aim your mind to each toe, heel...then the whole foot.
Why you have to relax your whole body?
There's a relationship between body and mind.
Your mind affects your body.
And your body affects your mind.
So you need to relax your body first.
You'll need patience to practice this method.
Don't try to sleep, just relax and your sleep will come unconsiously.
Why don't you relax your mind instead of relax your body?
I tested between relax my mind and relax my body first then relaxing my mind.
But I realize that it's easier to relax your body then relaxing your mind.
