10 ways to love yourself

Just in case you have been super busy and have forgotten to treat yourself and give your body kind and soul some self love, here a few tips that could get you back in track.

  1. Smile at yourself in the mirror, enjoy your inner and outset Beaty, your perfect imperfections and say "I love me" IMG_1478.JPG

2.Practice affirmations, our words thoughts and intentions create our reality. We are such powerful beings that if we understood the power our words and thoughts have, we would be so very careful in the way we speak and think. IMG_1479.JPG

  1. Drink plenty of water. The question is what kind of water to drink. Unless you have a perfectly alkaline diet, the water you should be drink should be of a higher pH. There are plenty of filters that give you alkaline water. Also have fun with water and add fruits to them or make them into juices. Water is vital for many bodily functions and detoxification. 4.Meditate, out of all the healthy practices out there, meditation is one of the most important ones. Learn how to meditate, start slow, maybe 2 minutes at a time, be patient with yourself but never give up. Be persistent. Mediation clears your mind and helps you work inward IMG_1484.JPG

  1. Practice yoga. Not the mainstream yoga where you actually work out, but instead the true yoga practice which is eventually a lifestyle. Yoga incorporates meditation with body movements for strength and balance. IMG_1486.JPG

  2. Dance like no one is watching, who cares if you don't know how to dance just move to the beat, let the music take your mind away to a fun and relaxing state, move freely and dance like the wind. Dancing boosts the healthy hormones that makes us happy. IMG_1487.JPG

  3. Listen to music, specially those with positive beats and messages. Avoid sad and angry songs. Stick to the ones that inspire you. IMG_1489.JPG

  4. Walk! Go out to the woods, to the beach to the outskirts of the city, to hidden trails in the city. Discover your surroundings and walk. IMG_1488.JPG

  5. Eat plenty of vegetables, a plant based diet will not only make you healthier but give you energy and help you live longer, and you will love how your skin, hair nails and rest of the body looks on a high vegetable diet. Make sure they are organic.IMG_1483.JPG

  6. Eat plenty of fruits, specially berries which are high in antioxidants. If you have a sweet tooth, train your brain that fruit is your dessert. Also try to eat fruits always on an empty stomach or between meals. Fruits need to be alone to digest properly and not ferment in our bodies.! Organic only IMG_1490.JPG
