Movie, the other name of entertainment and joy. Starting from a small child to a 80 yrs old man whose brain is still functioning love to watch movies. Because it took us to a different dimension quite dissimilar to real life situation. We can say it takes us a to completely new world which we can imagine and live although for few hours only. It makes us happy and realizes us that we have lots of different emotions and responsibilities except stress of earning money or doing 9 to 5 job. But could we ever think that consciously or unconsciously it affects our psychology, health and life. Some of them are beneficial and some of them are harmful. Here we are going to discuss some of the health issues related to movies which may be help you to take precautions if it is bad and increase that habit if it is good.
1.MOVIES ARE GOOD STRESS RELIEVERS
Could you remember how you feel when you come out of the film hall with a charming face ?. It is almost like you are getting something that you wished for years and after a long journey you get it. This feeling come out directly from your brain because after watching a entertaining movie some of your hidden stresses come out in the form of emotions and your brain feels relaxation. So, you can say movies are good stress relievers. This happens because when you watch a film it is natural that you flow with the emotions that shown on the screen and you can realize multi dimensional emotions within a particular time period which makes the different brain regions and cells active.
If you are under depression then you must go for a entertaining movie along with your friends. Because who knows your hidden stress may come out and you feel little bit relaxed. Now a days there is a therapy called film therapy , is used by the psychologist to to treat the patients who are suffering from mental disorders. So, movie can help you in many ways.
2.MOVIES CAN GIVE YOU A HEART ATTACK
Although it sounds odd but its a reality. If you have heart related problems or you have a horrible traumatic past then you should not watch particular kind of movies such as horror movies. Because when you watch a horror movie your blood pressure is generally high and your heart beat increases. It may cause you a heart attack or even if some times due to severe fear you may also have a brain stroke, which may lead you to comma or paralysis also.
If you have a doubt that panic can't harm you to such level then just imagine why so many people dies due to snake bites ?. You will strange to know that maximum number of snakes do not have poison but when they bite people goes under a state of panic, as a result of which they got a brain stroke or a heart attack and they die. So, if you have some kind of medical issues related to your heart or issues related to fear you should not watch films related to horror and violence.
3.MOVIES CAN CONTROL YOUR SUBCONSCIOUS MIND AND MAKE YOU A MANIAC
If you are watching particular kind of movies for a long term its my heartily suggestion that you must change your taste for some time. Because when we are watching movies the sound effects and dynamic images catches our full attention. Therefore it affects our mind very deeply. If we are watching same kind of movies again and again we are sending the same kind of messages to our conscious mind and what ever messages send again again to our conscious mind at last it transferred to our subconscious mind. The biggest magic is unknowingly what ever behaviour we show in our attitude is nothing but the reflection of the subconscious mind.
That means if you are watching movies related to violence and terrorism, then it may happen that characteristics like anger and impatience reflects in your behaviour. Researches have already proven this.
If you are watching porn movies for a long term then your behaviour towards your opposite sex may change and this may lead you towards a sex maniac or porn addict and you may started misbehaving others. So, it is better to change your taste time to time and enjoy different kind of movies.
4.MOVIES CAN MAKE YOU CREATIVE
As we all know there are many movies which use special effects and imaginary visual effects which leads us to a world of dream. Many parents want their child to concentrate on studies and not to watch movies. But you will be glad to know that some of the movies which include magic just like Harry Porter can make your child more creative.
There is a special reason to that. When we watch something unrealistic and magical our mind starts making arbitrary thoughts which does a function of brain storming. Its leads us to creativity. Because, creativity is nothing but thinking something from a unconventional angle. So, movies can also leads us towards creativity.
5.WATCHING MOVIES CAN GIVE YOU THE RESULT OF EXERCISE
Have you ever watching a film full of comedy ?. If the answer is yes, then you could remind how many times you had laughed during that. Many times right. Here is the secret. When we watch films related to comedy we laugh a lot. At least a average time of 15 mints through out the films and laughter is the best medicine. Due to laughter our heart mussel get positive exercises, our RBC count increases and the biggest think is our brain neurons get sufficient oxygen and mussels become relaxed. All these are the effects of a exercise. That means watching a film may also gives a result of exercise and makes you healthy and fit.
6.MOVIES CAN CREATE EYE PROBLEMS
Now a days with the increase facilities of Internet the whole world become a village. People are watching different kind of films from different countries and in different languages by downloading in their mobile or laptop or PC. And the real fun of watching a movie is lying on a bed, in the dark room or making the light switch off. But you will strange to know that due to excess watching of dynamic images of the film your eye muscle may got tired and it leads to eye pain, eye irritation and in long term it may cause visual loss.
So, it is better not to watch films in small screens like mobile for too long time especially if it has more number of dynamic and first moving scenes . It is better to watch them in a very controlled manner otherwise continuous movies watching leads to eye damage.
7.MOVIES CAN BE LEAD TO ADDICTION
As we all know excess of everything is bad. It also works for movies. Like drinking alcohol, smoking of cigarettes are all addictions. If You don't control the number of movies you are watching it may also turn into a addiction.
The result of the movie addiction is similar to as other addictions. You feel angry and depressed if you don't get one when you need it. Your mind will fluctuate and you will become desperate to watch more and more. It will consume both your time and money and also adversely affect your body. So, you must know when to stop watching movies.
