I kind of hope someone else would do a post on those aspects. I'm far from an expert on all the steps involved. What I was trying to do with this post was to (hopefully) get the message across that just because a study was published doesn't mean that it's findings are iron-clad; that there is still a process needed to confirm those findings. And, of course, to take studies such as the discredited one about autism and vaccines with a hefty grain of salt.
Agree. Priority first - this is an important message.
