Inflammation continued....

So after establishing the basics of what inflammation is, there's a suffiix used to denote the diagnosis of inflammation- itis (pronounced 'aitis'). For example, bronchitis is the inflammation of the bronchioles, sinusitis is the inflammation of the sinuses, meningitis is the inflammation of the meninges....just like that. So whenever you hear of any thing like that e.g hepatitis you know something is being inflamed. You're welcome!
