Loving the ☀️ and 🍉 in Ecuador
So grateful to be having a local, seeded watermelon 🍉 for breakfast (my favorite fruit/food) on Christmas day!
Spending the past 23 years/winter seasons of my life in Minnesota, it is quite odd not being somewhere freezing cold and snowy for Christmas. I am loving the warm weather and sunshine in Ecuador!

Organic watermelon is the best! Other than that, we never eat it here in Thailand - when it's conventionally grown, watermelon (like strawberries) becomes pesticide soup. All the more reason to check where our food comes from and support the amazing local farmers. LOTS of Chiang Mai people alternate time out of country with Ecuador, although the last political scare threw a few people I know into a tailspin and they left.
Enjoy the moments, and the joy of a warm Christmas. :) And the organic fruit. Enjoy LOTS of that. :)
