Let me make this real quick and brief,Every 4th of February is world's Cancer day and I see the trending headlines and hash tags of #we #CAN-CERVIVE, sure we can and will when all we get conscious of all that gets into our mouth, gets on our skin and practice the health habits of exercising and eating right.will throw more light on this in my next post.
I was opportune to visit my village market today so I saw these two necessary local seafood all raw from the soil and freshwater.let me start with
1 PERIWINKLES
Yes the winkles and I am sure a lot of steemians have never seen or eaten this small creature but their nutritional content is way above their size.
As small as they are, they can save you from Heart diseases, cancer diabetes and hypertension,because it contains that OMEGA-3-fatty acid which with proper balancing with OMEGA 6 Acid, surprisingly can keep the doctors away they also contain iron,vitamins.Ater removal the shell.
2.crayfish,crawfish,freshwater lobsters.
What I like about this seafood is the fact that they only live in clean water so they are health conscious and indicator for clean water.Just like the periwinkles they have very important nutritional food contents vitamins B,zinc, proteins and amino acids which are just the right food supplements, it also contain a very good amount of cholesterol of about 126g and sodium just enough to balance your electrolytes and judging by latest discoveries on cholesterol just maybe we will go back to crayfish meals.
Healthy food habits keeps the diseases away, health first then wealth.
