I work in the medical field and benzodiazepines scare the hell out of me - it absolutely is a silent epidemic that will be in the spotlight if the prescribing trends continue.

I've seen enough, to say with authority, that getting off of benzos when you're hooked on them is a special kind of Hell.

Alprazolam, clonazepam, diazepam, temazepam, lorazepam are the generic names for the most common ones out there.

They have legitimate uses to ease human suffering - please use them judiciously and sparingly if you've been prescribed one of them.

Otherwise your solution will become 10 X the original problem.
